Maybe it’s the way the morning light hits the water, or how quiet the streets feel just a block away from the buzz. Maybe it’s the neighbors who stop to chat mid-dog walk, or the geese that always seem to find their way back to the waterfront—like they never left. Whatever it is, it feels like home. And for me, it has been for a while now.
As a real estate agent who lives in the neighborhood, I get to experience Greenpoint in a way that’s both personal and professional. I walk these blocks daily with my dog Astro, meet clients over coffee, and stay closely tuned into what’s changing, what’s holding steady, and what’s quietly on the market before anyone else knows.
If you're curious about Greenpoint—whether you’re buying, selling, or just exploring on a sunny Saturday—here’s a peek into some of my favorite spots and why this place has my heart.
Morning Rituals
Start with a coffee from Homecoming or a matcha at Acre, then take a walk along the waterfront—Transmitter Park is my go-to, especially in the early hours when the city feels softer. I usually run into a few familiar faces, which makes it feel more like a small town than a city neighborhood.
The Homes Here? Full of Character
This neighborhood doesn’t do cookie-cutter. You’ll find charming townhomes, converted industrial lofts, luxury condos—and yes, a few off-market gems if you know where to look.
If you're selling, the right prep and timing can make a huge difference. And if you're buying? When the right place shows up, you’ll feel it in your gut. (And I’ll make sure you're ready when it happens.)
A Few Personal Favorites

Community > Everything
The best part of Greenpoint? The people. There’s a real care here—for the neighborhood, for each other. Whether it’s chatting with garden members about composting, getting involved in waterfront preservation, or just bumping into neighbors at the dog park, this neighborhood runs on connection. It feels like home—even before you find your address.
